Since 1904, definitely assigned production has been reported in 1932 when one claim yielded placer gold valued at $166 and again in 1934 when two claims yielded a total of $106 in gold." Lyden, 1948. Some of the placer ground lies on patented claims in sec. 3 and 10, T.1S., R.8W. These claims are surrounded by BLM land. From a map in the MBMG mineral property files, this property includes the Ruby placer (Sur. No. 6329), Lulu placer (Sur. No. 6670), and Eureka placer (Sur. No. 6330). It is in secs. 32, 33, T.1S., R.9W. and secs. 4, 5, T.2S., R.9W. |
