Report: Sahinen only mentions the Starr Mine on Big Creek with no description; he did list it as a gold prospect. The USBM also has a brief description that is one adit and one trench, and is a 5 mile hike into it on the Gash Point 7.5-min. quad. They described the geology as being along a schist-granodiorite contact. The location plotted north of the Big Creek pack trail and east of Beaver Creek.
