Report: Listed with Pikes Peak, and Gold Creek placers in Krohn and Weist (1977), with total production of 246,200 ounces of gold between the years of 1852-1959. Quaternary gravel was placered by surface means. They are on the Garrison 15-min. quadrangle. Also, described in McClernan (1976); produced $1,200,000 in gold and silver along a 1-1/2 mile stretch of creek. Mined area 250 to 1,500 ft wide and 15-20 ft thick.
