Report: Simons (1979) list the Gaint Extension as having two caved adits and four trenches. Two partially caved adits were found north of the Lorraine claim fitting Simons description and location for the Giant Extension's workings. The openings are small, 3 feet by 1.5 feet, and extend only a short distance into the hillside. The workings are dry and no other environmental hazards were found.
