Report: This mine was mentioned as "inactive" in 1958 (Stout and Ackerman, 1959) but as "developing" in 1959 and 1960 (Crowley, 1960, 1961). Nothing else is known about this mine except that it is located in section 22, T9S, R9E and that it was a gold/tungsten prospect. The Forest Service road leading to this area is known as the "Sinombre" road and it is assumed that there is some association there. A map obtained from TVX Mineral Hill mine shows the Sin Hombre unpatented claim bounded to the east by the McCauley, to the south by the Columbia, and to the west by the First Chance. A detailed geologic map, also obtained from TVX, shows no workings in the area. It was not visited as it was in the active claim area..
