Report: The Tiny Jack was described as having pits, trenches and possibly a caved adit (Wedow and others, 1975), and Johnson and others (1993) took one sample at the site. The workings are in diorite with quartz stringers and contains traces of gold and silver; up to 3.32 percent WO3. The site has a small cabin, some trenches, empty drums, and other mining remnants. A small excavation was made at the base of the cliff and was worked with a rocker (of which, parts still remain). The site lies on GNF-administered land and has no environmental problems.
