The location of this site is in T10N R10E sec. 22. There was one partially open shaft noted in pictures 55 13-17. The shale which composes 98% of teh waste dump breaks into match-sized pieces.The shale has orange iron-oxides on the fracture surfaces. Calcite veins have tarnished chalcopyrite and trace green copper oxides. There is quartz in the veins also. |
