Report: The Silver Quest Group of patented claims lies near the headwaters of the St. Regis River on the north side of the drainage. The site was visited by MBMG geologists on 07/13/01. Only one, possibly two, adits were found on the patented claims. They were small and totally collapsed. One adit, also totally collapsed, was located on the southeast side of the river and south of the trail to St. Regis Lake where it crosses the river. The adit trends approximately S80 E and the waste dump can be seen from the trail. No hazards and no environmental concerns were noted.
