Report: Most of these workings are on private land although a small amount of disturbance could be on LNF-administered land. The mine is visible immediately north of Forest Route 343, the South Fork Fish Creek Road. It is in sec. 10, T12N, R24W on the Lupine Creek 7.5-min. quadrangle. The equipment is from a fairly recent (early-1990's) operation, the area is posted with "no trespassing" signs, and no activity was noted at the time of this visit on 06/06/01.
