Report: Some confusion in the exact location may be because the mine was described as being in sec. 17, T14N, R25W in Lawson (1975) but MILS plotted it in sec. 18. It is actually located in sec. 17. The site has been visited by MBMG staff, Dick Berg and Robin McCulloch at different times. Mineralization includes beryl, rutile, a ytterium-phosphate, quartz and siderite in veinlets in a Belt quartzite. The workings consist of an open cut along side the road. It was considered active since 1999 and was active in 2001 at the time of this study.
