Report: This site originally referred to a placer but only lode mines were found in the area. A major collapsed adit along Deep Creek was visited on 08/23/01. It trended N70E. The portal was totally collapsed with boards collapsed at the entrance. The waste dump was not in contact with the creek. Several other adits and prospects were both northwest and southeast of the largest adit. It is represented by an adit symbol on the Landowner Mountain 7.5-min. quadrangle in AABA sec.23, T.15N., R.27W.
