They investigated a W to NW striking vein of quartz, pyrite, chalcopyrite, bornite, and galena that is less than .5 feet thick (O'Neill and others, 1983). The mineralization is spotty and narrow, with the best values for 15 samples being .16 oz/ton gold, 2.5 oz/ton silver, .33% copper, 2.93% lead, and .15% WO3. Country rock is Archean gneiss. |
