Report: An open shaft with workings of unknown extent explores a quartz-iron oxide-rich area of Precambrian metamorphic rocks that is possibly related to a pyrite-bearing hornblende porphyry found on the dump. A select sample assayed 0.603 oz/ton gold, 2 ppm silver, 52 ppm copper, 294 ppm lead, 24 ppm zinc, and 346 ppm arsenic. A later visit described the wooden headframe, a log cabin, a sawed lumber cabin, and a shack with steps leading down to an adit or cellar. There was a square, metal ore hauler with a pointed bottom.
