A sample of slightly silicified gossan contained .018 oz/ton gold, .09 oz/ton silver, .041% copper, 5.20% lead, and 1.67% zinc. The mineralization is probably similar to that of the nearby Giant, where small replacement zones containing silver-bearing galena occur adjacent to Cretaceous syenite sills. |
