Report: The Montezuma prospect is located about 2 miles southeast of the Midas Mineand includes six unpatented claims (Johns 1960). There are two adits and an inaccesible 30 foot inclined shaft. There are also 12 or more pits and trenches (Johns 1960). Quartz Veins froms a few inches thick up to 20 inches thick have been explored (Gibson 1948).
