Report: The Union mine may have formerly been known as the Olsen and Switzer (Johns, 1960) but the location description is not exactly the same. The occurrence consists of 8 patented claims. The deposit is hosted by Prichard Formation with quartz veins from 6 inches to 4 feet wide (Johns, 1960). Ore minerals included galena, sphalerite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, and pyrite. These adits were all collapsed when visited in 1998.
