Report: The general area of this mine was visited, but the exact location was never identified because of the vague description. The Herbert mine was located to the southeast of where this mine was plotted. No environmental problems were noted. US Bureau of Mines RI 6334 (Walker, 1963) describes it as being on Hazel Creek southeast of and adjacent to the Lukens Hazel mine. It was prospected by several pits and two, short (caved) adits. Walker (1963) postulated that it was a continuation of the Lukens Hazel east and west lodes. Occasional scheelite float was found by Walker.
