Report: Nellie-Mascot A N75E trending vein, in aplite, of quartz and minor fine grained pyrite was mined through 2 shafts and 6 adits (one is still open) with about 3,000 feet of total workings. Roby and others (1960) give production figures from 1911 to 1940 as 125 tons of ore containing 50 ounces of gold, 8,053 oz of silver, and 178 pounds of lead. A sample, BNJ-1, ran <0.006 oz/ton gold, 0.04 oz/ton silver, 0.015% copper, 0.04% lead, 0.038% zinc, and 0.45% arsenic.
