They trace a N74E 40NW vein. The mine operated for 5 years between 1939 and 1956, producing 839 tons of ore, 162 ounces of gold, 4,884 ounces of silver, 4,096 pounds of copper, 110,161 pounds of lead, and 7,911 pounds of zinc (Roby and others, 1960). Sample BJMQ-1 yielded 0.012 oz/ton gold, 1.00 oz/ton silver, 0.124% copper, 1.14% lead, 0.341% zinc, and 0.30% arsenic. Another sample labelled BJMQ-3 ran 0.034 oz/ton gold, 4.32 oz/ton silver, 0.180% copper, 6.99% lead, 0.151% zinc, and 0.60% arsenic. BJMQ-2 ran <0.006 oz/ton gold, 0.94 oz/ton silver, 0.048% copper, 1.09% lead, 0.216% zinc, and 0.34% arsenic. |
