The largest area being 60 to 80 feet wide by 200 feet long with a highwall of 10 to 15 feet. The disturbed areas are mostly re-vegetated, There are no structures, water or other environmental hazards. Minobras (1977) list this site as one of eight mines as the principle producers of the North Cave Hills area. Three small disturbed areas, strip mined, were found for the Hoop and Holler.
