Report: Tuscarora Three shafts 10-20 feet deep and some propect pits explore two sets of limonite-stained shears in granodiorite (Bannister and others, 1983). The shear zones are from 1 inch to 1 foot thick, and have N65W 51SW and N70E 35NW orientations. The best select sample had only .06 oz/ton gold and 1.8 oz/ton silver. The workings are located on a dry hilltop.
