Report: East Mountain Lion A locked adit trends S18W to a quartzite breccia with a matrix of quartz and iron oxide. The dump is comprised of unaltered quartzite and siltite of the Cretaceous Kootenai formation. Like its neighbors, silver was probably the major commodity at this mine.
