Report: Mickey (Garrett) Mine and Mill Like the adjacent Golden Eagle area, the Mickey mined searched for high grade ore from veins and irregular solution cavities in Cambrian carbonate rocks. The main adit follows a N40W 75NE vein 1-3 feet wide for 145 feet in Cambrian Hasmark limestone (Earll, 1972). Skarn minerals are present in the carbonates, and bismuthinite is present in the vein (unpublished information, MBMG files). Apparently the mine produced a little ore in the early 1960's (Earll, 1972). A mill below has a tailings dam with no associated tailings nearby.
