Report: Tim Third Chance Development on the Tim Third Chance consists of a caved adit less than 30 feet long and an open cut. The surface workings investigate a N40W 62SW structure with a one inch to one foot wide vuggy quartz-chalcocite vein at its center. Surrounding the vein is a 2-3 foot wide breccia zone of limestone clasts cemented by quartz, calcite, and iron oxide. A four foot chip sample across the vein and breccia ran only .002 oz/ton gold, .21 oz/ton silver, .012% copper, .019% lead, and .004% zinc. Host rock is limestone, dolomite, and shale of the Cambrian Hasmark or Red Lion Formations.
