Report: The Fairy Lake site was visited but only 3 small prospects were found on the ridgetop about one mile north of Fairy Lake. The 20 foot deep shaft mentioned in Johnson et al. (1993) was not located. One caved mine working was located adjacent to the trail. The location was inaccurate as described in Johnson et al. (the prospect pits are 1,200 feet due north of the shaft).
