Report: San Mezcalito Mine FH006780 Lawson (1975) gives the location of the San Mezcalito Mine as section 26, T31N, R24W (Johnson Peak quadrangle). He describes the status as "inactive" but gives no description of the workings. MBMG visited the area where the mine is reportedly located in August 2000 and was unable to locate evidence of a mine other than that of the Humdinger Prospect. The Humdinger Prospect ( FH006822) appears to have been relocated as the San Mezcalito Mine. The mine workings are described in the discussion of the Humdinger Prospect.
