Agency: NF Region District: R1 Ranger District: KINGS HILL Forest Service Tract: Watershed Code: 10030105 Forest or Resource Area: LEWIS AND CLARK Owner: P Impact: Report: The New Alicia and New Rodwell Claims were screened out because they are located on a dry ridgetop. According to Robertson (1951), the site was a silver, lead, zinc, and copper mine. It is located a quarter of a mile north of the open pit of the Silver Dyke mine. Development work includes several trenches and open cuts as well as an adit drift that is 150 feet long. The vien contains galena, sphalerite, pyrite, chalcopyrite, and oxidized products of these minerals. |
