Report: The Champion "B" mine is located one mile northeast of Neihart in section 29 (Robertson, 1951). There is not a mill or any tailings present. There are not any signs of erosion, and there are not any discharging adits. No hazardous structures or materials are located at the site. Robertson (1951) states that the location of the mine is in between the Lizzie claim and the Dacotah claim. There are two parallel veins. A winze was sunk on one vein that was three feet wide. The veins are mainly honeycombed quartz that contains galena, sphalerite, and pyrite.
