An open pit chromite mine marked on the topographic map by a quarry symbol was visited by MBMG geologists. It was found to be an upper and lower cut or benches on the plateau rim in serpentine, with the upper bench being part of the landslip described by James. There are no hazards or structures at the site except for a small wooden ore shoot on the lower bench. |
