Report: Reference to this mill is made in Pattee (1960) the operating flow sheet was printed and it was reported that ore from the Brownes Lake mine was processed. It is also discussed in newspaper articles about the Calvert mine found in the MBMG mineral property files. It is assumed that the mill also concentrated ore from the Lost Creek mine. The site was reclaimed by DSL-AMRB and there is scant evidence remaining that it ever operated at all. There were two possible periods of operation; one in the late 1950's to 1961 and another in the 1970's. An article from the Western Mining News dated May 22, 1975 announced the auction date of June 25th for the sale of equipment from this mill including 250 ton ball mill flotation machines, thickeners, concentrating tables, etc. The article stated that they were relatively new having been used only one year.
