Report: Two roads lead east of the open pit mine (Ivanhoe); one older with trees revegetating it and the upper one still passable. Both have prospects along them but no real safely hazards (some steep slopes) and no environmental problems. Two of the prospects are shown on the Storm Peak 7½-minute quadrangle. The upper two expose a portion of the Amsden Formation fractured by the Lentung fault as mapped by DeBoer (1991) and the lower two (along with the roadcuts) expose Amsden skarn.
