Report: This patented claim is in the Lime Gulch drainage north of the Birch Creek lime quarry. One, approximately 20-ton dump is in the drainage, primarily oxidized, iron stained limestone. The drainage is completely dry with probably runoff only in large storm events. One cabin in bad condition is near the dump and one main adit with possibly some prospects is to the west of the dump. This site was evaluated in passing and no effect to National Forest land is probable.
