Report: Wadams BE004235 A patented claim located topographically highest on the dry hillside above the Bannack lode mines; this is grouped with the Golden Leaf (Geach, 1972). DSL-AMRB has backfilled and fenced the adit. The dumps remain; minerals include chalcopyrite, cuprite, malachite, azurite, chrysocolla, plus galena, cerusite, garnet and epidote (Winchell, 1914). Fissures and mineralized fractures in Madison limestone at the apex of a granodiorite apophysis make up the deposit (Shenon, 1931). The downward extension was apparently cut off by a fault (Geach, 1972). Dates of operation span from 1909 to 1955 and operations, combined with the Golden Leaf, produced 2,921 tons of ore yielding 10,472 oz Au, 29,455 oz Ag, 7001 lbs Cu, 100,781 lbs Pb, and 300 lbs Zn (Geach, 1972).
