Report: Wallace Lode Mine BE004115 Another patented lode mine, very similar to the Wadams (and located topographically below it) in that its downward extension was also found to be cut off by a large fault and with the same geological host (Madison limestone associated with a Kgd apophysis)(Geach, 1972). This is also grouped with the Golden Leaf; it was the uppermost adit level. Geach (1972) also noted production only in one year, 1939, with 32 tons of ore producing 24 oz Au and 28 oz Ag. DSL-AMRB has backfilled and/or secured the adit with a culvert and has sampled the dumps of the Wallace.
