Report: This site is primarily on private land, and includes five patented claims of Jumbo, Indian Queen, Indian Chief, U.S. Treasurer, and Burch. The road had been recently updated and had a locked gate. A cursory examination revealed only collapsed adits and a truck and cat. The land may have been recently logged. The property is noted in Geach, 1972, Loen and Pearson, 1989, and Pattee, 1960. Pattee has a geologic map and assays for the claims. The occurrence is a skarn, with Cambrian limestone in contact with the Mount Torrey batholith. Ore minerals include scheelite, powellite and magnetite. Geach's 10' ore sample ran 0.010 opt Au, 0.30 opt Ag, 0.02% Cu, and 41.0% Fe. Pattee's sample ran from 0.013 to 0.042% WO3.
