Report: Wise River Placer BE000786 This entry was screened out because of the inaccuracy of the location and the fact that it is a place A file at MBMG mineral porperty files lists the commodity as tungsten. IT also lists the deposit in secs. 09, 16, 17, 20 T.03S., R.12 W. and secs. 21, 28, 34, T.02S., R.12W. Several claims can be found in sec. 33, T. 2 S., R. 12 W. and may be patented placer claims or homestead claims. There is no easily identified placer workings here probably obscured by time, willows and the paucity of gold. There is no mention in Lyden (1948) of placers on the Wise River.
