IT also lists the deposit in secs. 09, 16, 17, 20 T.03S., R.12 W. and secs. 21, 28, 34, T.02S., R.12W. Several claims can be found in sec. 33, T. 2 S., R. 12 W. and may be patented placer claims or homestead claims. There is no easily identified placer workings here probably obscured by time, willows and the paucity of gold. There is no mention in Lyden (1948) of placers on the Wise River. |
