Loen (1997) reported in 52 years of data used, 27,523 short tons of ore, with a Au/Ag ratio of 0.0003 produced 5 ounces of gold from placering in this district. He used data from Geach (1972). A reference in the MBMG mineral property files listed total production from 1902-1965 as 708 ounces. Loen and Pearson (1989) also refer to it as the Cold Spring Creek placer.
