Report: White Lime (BE000102) The White Lime is a limestone claim consisting of bulldozer trenches with dumps. Total surface disturbance is approximately 1 acre. Host rock is Mississippian Madison limestone which has been altered to light-gray to white marble. The marble formed when a granodiorite stock intruded the country rock. The marble is coarsely crystalline in part and contains calcite crystals. There is no other obvious mineralization. No production figures and/or operational data was found in the literature. This is a dry site located on a small hill; there is no water component. All workings are on BLM land.
