Report: Gray Goose (BE000017) The Gray Goose claims are located on a dry ridgeline in sections 15 and 22 (Township 11S; Range 11W; Beaverhead County, Montana). Workings consist of bulldozer trenches and accompanying waste rock piles. Host rock is coarse grained granite gneiss cut by thin, white quartz veins. The MILS database lists uranium as the principal commodity here; the only apparent sign of mineralization is limonite staining. These workings are located on BLM land; all workings are dry and pose no apparent environmental threats.
